This movie is ridiculous and does not do justice for the original. The original film in 1941 and the story line is not even represented in the slightest by this new film. I was really expecting to see Disney and Tim Burton stick with the classic film and make something that would do it justice including more interaction with the animals and them being the focal point with the human cast being more on the outside. They did not portray how Dumbos mother got caged correctly, nor did they include the crows who helped Dumbo to learn how to fly. The mouse wasn’t even hardly included in the film when he was had such a big role in the original film helping Dumbo deal with his mother being locked up. They did not do the scene where Dumbo gets intoxicated and hallucinates and sees the elephants on parade. None of the animals spoke, AT ALL! After seeing the other remakes that Disney has done with other classics, I was expecting this film to be nothing short of spectacular but, it is an absolute atrocity and I feel that Walt Disney would be absolutely ashamed of someone taking one of his classics and totally twisting it into something that is a completely different story. The two films may share the same title but are not by any means the same film. It is utterly disappointing and I am in complete shock that anyone would think this film is even mediocre. Shame on you for ruining by far one of the most heartfelt classics in Disney history, you are an embarrassment to the film industry.
