Best translation I know of, andI have all of the major translations. Over 90 pages of introduction, which alone is worth reading.
It is the easiest Bible to read because of the wide spacing. The very relevant footnotes are at the bottom of each of the two columns on each page.
The Introductions to each book of the Bible are invaluable and contain information that i had never read before.
The satellite maps are outstanding to enable one to get areal feel for the Bible lands during Bible times.
I bought an IEB Study Bible for each of my two sons and heartily recommend this translation without reservation.
