It's a boring slog of a film that just moves from one soundtrack to another instead of capturing the essence of hip hop and rap. The movie has brilliant performances and that makes 'Gully Boy' remotely watchable.

A fun refreshing restart to the Transformers franchise that gives relatable and endearing characteristics to the robot and the human characters. THE BEST action choreography/direction in the franchise. It has a banging soundtrack. And it's just a sweet movie that'll leave you wanting for more.

The best DCEU movie and a visual spectacle to be witnessed on the big screen. There's a lot of cheesy stuff in it, but you can happily ignore it thanks to the cast's charm.

The best Spider-Man movie of all time and one of the best movies of 2018. Please go watch it while it's in the theaters!

One of the WORST movies of 2018. A nightmare in terms of script-writing, editing and direction. The only saving grace is the CGI and acting. But the errors that it creates is far more criminal than the ones committed by Grindelwald.

JUST GO AND WATCH IT. This is honestly one of the best movies of the year. I don't know how many times my eyes welled up and how many times I was clenching my teeth because of the intensity of the lift-off sequences. Great performances, great direction, great score, great cinematography, minimalistic cgi, slow burn pace and an ending that turned me into a sobbing mess. It's worth multiple watches but I guess you can decide that for yourself after your first viewing.

Although it's too early to say because we're in the first month of the year but I'm gonna say it anyway: Mukkabaaz is the best Bollywood movie of 2018.

One of the boldest moves by Rian Johnson, coupled with amazing performances by the cast and especially Mark Hamill. The movie is full of tear-jerking moments and jaw-dropping cinematography. Go watch it... preferably in 2D.

Blade Runner 2049 is probably the only sequel that actually improves upon the original. And considering how good the original is, that is something. The movie is visually engaging and the plot is simple enough to not distract the audience from Roger Deakins's amazing cinematography. The world-building is very realistic, thanks to some amazing special and practical effects. The performances are great and Ryan Gosling again proves how good he's at playing a silent and reluctant protagonist. Those who've watched the original should definitely watch it. Those who haven't and those who are complaining about why we don't get good sci-fi movies, should watch it. Go watch it in the theaters because that's the correct way to experience this movie and support Denis Villeneuve's mastery.
