It is a slow, quiet film but very true to real life. Trace’s performance was phenomenal. I felt what she was feeling through out the whole film. Such a beautiful story about family, trauma, loneliness, and healing.

This movie was a realistic depiction of everyday life. There’s not a lot of drama and flare. But the emotion is there. Since this movie left me in tears I wouldn’t necessarily say I liked the way it made me feel... but it’s a very good movie since it evokes sadness. It’s an ode to the human experience and the relationships we form. Then the loss of those relationships. This is life. This death. Bravo to Kent Jones for making a movie with a cast of older women and telling the not so uncommon story of a selfless, strong woman who never learned to love herself.
