Truly truly dreadful. Words can’t describe how cloying and sickly it is. In this episode Ma took Pop away for a weekend to Margate (It was Broadstairs. We all know it was Broadstairs, just call it Broadstairs. She said to Pop you can stop riding that tractor, you can ride me instead. Sorry? I don’t think anything like that was in the book. Avoid it at all costs. I wonder who at itv thought it was ok?
