I'm not going to go in detail for this, but after seeing other movies based on this concept, I wasn't having my hopes up high for it. Oh, how I was wrong. If nothing is perfect, this may just be the closest animated film to it. The animation is gorgeous for today's standards, and this was made in 1998. That's impressive. Personally, my favorite scene in terms of looks is when the Red Sea moves open for Moses, because it's so stunning. The score is superb. Hans Zimmer was on point with his choices. And the conflict between Moses and Rameses is just incredible. It was written with such incredible work that words really can't describe it. All in all, this is one of, if not THE, greatest animated film of all time. It's THAT good. Take a bow, Dreamworks.
