Another incredible addition to the Bloodlines epic. In this 4th installment, we see Daphne learn more about this werewolf world and what it means to be part of a pack. She learns more about the alpha and there are some definite ups and downs in her relationship with him. We get a couple of steamy scenes, loads of action-I'm talking gunfire and Molotov cocktails, city burning down around you action-and through it all, characters with heart and depth. There is a huge cast, but every character is so well thought out and nuanced. THAT ENDING! AH! Oh criminey, Bloodlines Vol. 5 is gonna be a rollercoaster. The scenes with Ashelin and Gasperd have also got me hyped to read the author's spin-off that focuses on those two characters: Her Tyrant Alpha.
