Lanka's Princess by Kavita Kane was the most wonderful book I've ever read.
Before reading this book,
I thought that Surpnakha was very mean and her name gave a completely demonic feel but Meenakshi was her real name and she wasn't at all like that.
Her character in Ramayana story we see is just that she at last wanted to take revenge with Ravan for killing Vidyujiva (as he was a traitor)
But Meena misunderstand Ravan and she gave the fire a blow.
She lost everything her husband, son - Kumar, and even her beloved Nephew at the last Meghnad (Indrajit).
Only thing I don't like was story was going very slow at the beginning Chapters of Meenakshi's life rest all were very good.👍
She finally took her REVENGE as Lord Ram killed Ravan and in her next birth the wish of her marriage with Ram was successful as she was married to Krishna as Phulwati ( also known as Trivakra and Kubja) and they even had a son who was the Upashloka .
