For fans it’s a solid conclusion to a beloved series. In some ways not as blatantly fan-servicey as #7. Much better than Last Jedi. For non-fans, some plot holes and gimmicky plot devices are distracting from what is a solid, good but not great movie.
If you’re watching this for things to be wrapped up reasonably well, you’ll be happy, I think.
