This series was layered, intentional, and suspenseful in the sense that it played with your perceptions and own anticipation of what should or could happen at any moment. Mild in action and slow paced in parts makes you at times oblivious to how you are being drawn in by strategic camera shots, metaphorical lighting/shadowing, and especially crisp sounds in each scene. I enjoyed the rolling end scenes and thought it clever with the only cut to black end scene in the final episode. I appreciate what the director did and how the actors were not glamorized. Honestly if you go into this series patient, I think you will enjoy it!
