Sydney Harris – Google

This is a great show that I want to see a second season from. I feel that this show has a great realistic portrayal of teenagers life minus some of the actions like going to clubs ( but maybe they do in the uk? Idk I’m from New York). But other than that I feel like the dialogue is particularly the strongest pillar of the show along with the representation of eating disorders, which was done amazingly. I feel like with some shows glamorizing it, or making it too extreme, this show demonstrated it close to perfection. Maybe not for everyone because everyone’s eating disorder looks different but it’s reflection of many in the real world. I also would like to say, I feel like the characters are very complex, and I would want to see more of their storyline.

This show is amazing and I feel like so much of it is a raw and real depiction of teenage life in the city which many shows struggle to capture. If you thinking about it I would suggest giving it a watch, but tw: sexual assault and drug use. The writing on this was exceptional and if there is any possibility for an investor to pick this up, I promise they won’t regret it because of the fans support.

The concept of this show is very exciting and attractive. So that’s why I love it and would love to see a second season. There’s no real tedious competition or challenges. It’s basically a paid vacation that can get you richer for doing absolutely nothing. The contestants of the first season aggravated me very much. The girls were drawn to strategizing very early on to receive the largest sum. While others were not. But they most prominently acted emotion instead of strategy, which is seen by the first vote out of the house. I will say though I don’t agree with much of the criticism towards the women because the other contestants played the same exact game even though they said they weren’t. Jake was all about strategy, But since his strategy was different, no one saw it as it. The reasoning for them voting Winnie out was the same reason they could’ve voted Jake out. They were both leaders and had a great force of influence on the house with the power to influence elimination, so why was Winnie targeted? Especially since the first reason they targeted her was to get mama jay out and mama jay left before they got Winnie. Seems like they were scared of a strong woman. They never thought that Winnie was a loose canon. They always were targeting mama Jay, only after they have gotten on Winnie’s bad side, they wanted to kick her off, even though they had the numbers. Overall, I feel like most of the people that made it to the end were hypocrites. But the show is very attention grabbing, so I hope there’s a second season.
