Banana Head

I'm about 8 hours into this game on the Wii U. I have played all except the latest Devil May Cry but this game kicks the balls out of all the previous DMC versions. I had been sceptical about about playing Bayonetta for years - can't remember when it was released - as the art style and craziness advertised just didn't appeal to me, especially the pseudo witch dominatrix-style thing going on. I was, however, completely wrong. My fingers are aching - I've been beating the bollocks out of this for the last few days. It's just so much fun - the action, variety and humour are spot on. It pleasures me like the old school beat 'em ups of the '90s used to. It has the fluidity of Soul Calibre and then some and a combat style almost on par with the Batman Arkham games. If you were ever doubting this game then please give it a try - just for a hour. You won't be disappointed. Also get a Switch, so, once the third Bayonetta arrives, you can play all three!
