I am very much troubled by your recent episodes describing the plight of migrant children at the border--in which Willian Brangwyn and others repeatedly describe these children as "separated children." This leaves the clear impression that these are children who have been separated by U.S. border officials. However, the policy of separation was stopped last fall. These are not "separated children," these are "unaccompanied children," left by their parents to make their way across the border on their own. This is a HUGE difference. Much of the outrage about the plight of these children should be directed at the parents, not at immigration officials. PBS's reporting on this issue is deeply biased.
