Despite its technical shortcomings (the texture pop in on a short draw distance being the most obvious and the fact it was not optimised with a full screen display for PAL regions), doesn't stop Daytona USA being a great launch title for the Saturn and is still fun to play to this day. The cars are weighty, handle well and the 3 courses on offer are well designed. It's loud, it's fast and it has charm. It's belongs in every Saturn owners collection.

I didn't really like this film. I'm not really sure who it's aimed at either. Maybe you'll find enjoyment if you're invested in the source material but it wasn't a fun sci fi adventure romp like SW and was hampered being more visceral by its 12A certificate. No kid would like this film at all so why water it down like this? Timothee Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson were wasted as a genuinely interesting mother/son partnership on a bland escapade in the sand. Remember that this is my opinion..... For me, the desert is an exceptionally bland environment to look at for over 2 and a half hours and yes it's 'artistic' to shoot night scenes with no external lighting but, like in the TWD, just makes things difficult to see. Stellen Skarsgard just reminded me of Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now! Hans Zimmers music is brilliant as always though! It just feels like the whole thing got the green light because of all the big names attached to the project 🤷‍♂️
