Anurag Kashyap movies come with expectations. And Manmarziyan came with more expectations as it was Anurag's romantic take. First 30 minutes of the movie felt like you were in for something spectacular. And then the next 30 minutes felt like a chewed gum. Watching the same thing again but without any juice left. And then movie continues... You don't understand why Robbie (Abhi) wants to marry Rumi (Tapsi) and keeps giving her chances after marriage !!! As far as performances are concerned, Tapsi, Vicki and Abhi has done excellent job. (in that order too). Amit Trivedi's music is really catchy. All in all, movie is a blend of Hum Dil De Chuke sanam, Tanu Weds Manu, Befikre. It's a One time watch but go without expectations.
