GREEN BOOK was an excellent movie about a friendship between 2 people that were opposites and needed one another. Dr. Shirley was a world famous pianist who was African American during the racist segregation years who hired a tough, mouthy, Italian driver to bring him safely to his performances in a segregated world with many restrictions for the African American famous pianist who was treated badly by a society who did not stand up for what was truly right in society but instead followed the crowd and the unjust laws of our land. A famous saying is "If injustice becomes Law, Rebellion Becomes Duty".
It is our duty as People to stand up for what is right even if is Against the Law in a Peaceful Protest. Our People have fought Wars to Uphold our Constitutional Rights....Free Speech, Freedom of the Press (written), Freedom of Religion, a Speedy Trial, Right to Bear Arms, Search with a Warrant....
UPHOLD OUR CONSTITUTION WHERE OUR PEOPLE HAVE SERVED AND GIVEN THEIR LIVES FOR AND MAKE THEIR LIVES COUNT.
SPEAK UP, PEACEFUL PROTEST AND DO RIGHT! EVERYONE IS EQUAL IN GOD EYES. DO RIGHT AND SPEAK UP AND UPHOLD OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS AND DO RIGHT AND DON'T FOLLOW THE CROWD THAT DOES WRONG AND GOD WILL BLESS OUR LAND.
This movie is an example of a man who spoke up and did right and treated the pianist with respect among the barriers of racism. It is worth seeing how the driver and pianist developed their friendship in spite of the obstacles.
