Sanju – Good story of a bad boy. Why would one like to watch a biography? Of course for learning ! So, why would you like to watch a Sanjay Dutt Biography? Of cour….. Hmm.. That’s how one may be in a dilemma… A Bad Boy in real life, a hero of reel life- How can he make up to be an ideal for the society? Well, Rajkumar Hiarani’s Sanju ! leave all baffled till you go & watch the classic work of Ranbir as Sanjay Dutt. The movie touches the life of Sanjay Dutt right from his first movie, to his drug addict days, his court case and eventually the comeback. The demonstration begins with a real life wish of publishing his autobiography & that makes him to meet a famous writer whom he narrates his story. Certainly a Bad Boy of the family leaves no wrong emotions untouched, struggles to surpass his drug addict phase in life and no sooner than later the stardom drags him to establish connect with the Underworld. And then starts the series of legal complications, the journey from being stamped as Terrorist to his imprisonment under Arms act. Eventually story ends in 2015 post his release from Jail. One may find a known story being demonstrated on screen with no element of positivity. However there comes the surprise package i.e., his friend at USA, basically from Gujarat, India. A fan of senior Mr. Dutt & Mrs. Dutt, incidently meets Sanju in USA while Nargis Dutt was being operated for Cancer. The demonstration becomes stronger with this element of friendship in the movie. Well, that’s not all, this movie is also of his Father – Mr. Sunil Dutt. Parish Rawal has done absolute justice and the demonstration of the story would have been incomplete without the father’s struggle & patience. All in all, it’s a movie to watch for a real life story, a friend’s support and a father’s affection. What you miss in the movie is the childhood of Sanjay Dutt and his early marriage life. The story accommodates his Third wife Manyatta & her belief on him. What could have been avoided in the movie are a few dialogues that may not suit family audience emotions, but that’s the challenge of real life stories, one can’t manipulate, it has to be real. The movie is an emotional plot that teaches the importance of being precious for the family. It spreads the message of having philosophy & purpose in life. Sanju! has touched the heart of people not because he is good, but a demonstration that bad potentially looks like him. A serious attempt is made in the movie to show the Media’s role in the court cases, hope media takes sportingly. Sanju ! may not be an Ideal for society, but certainly a fighter.
