Khub baaje laglo. Bhebechilam Srijit er onek decline hoyeche, khub ekta bhalo toh hobena. Kintu jotota kharap hobe bhebechilam tar thekeo baaje chilo.
I’ll start with the good bits first. Gaan gulo ar background score motamuti mondo noy. Jisshu, Bumbada ar Anirban er acting chorom. Especially Anirban er acting, body language, shob kichu simply brilliant. He has created such an interesting and realistic character.
Unfortunately Ar sherom kichui bhalo nei movie tay. Jaya Ehsaan eto plastic surgery korieche je botox er jonyo ekta facial muscle o norena - toh acting korbe ki kore? Watching her act was the most painful part of the movie.
Tar por ache excessive kyet. Dui detective eto kyet mere gelo sharakhon je mystery tai solve korte bhule gelo. Last e criminal ke shomosto kichu khub painstakingly explain korte holo. Otocho eder confidence level e kintu kono norchor nei. Shesh obdi kyet e kyet.
This film appears to exploit 22shey srabon nostalgia and do little else. What could have been an excellent plot (inspired from a famous Agatha Christie novel), some thrilling action scenes, and an engrossing cat and mouse chase became an insipid, slow-mo nostalgia train that used a lot of words to say nothing. So much potential, wasted.
Srijit, do better. You had the seed of a good story, your own directorial brilliance (from your heyday), and three amazing actors to bring life to these interesting grey characters.
