Boring and bloody. Derivative and banal. I felt no connection to any of the charters. Just to check myself, I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode of season one of GOTs. It only took a few minutes to hook me! So disappointed in this Dragon series. I have a feeling that it will “drag-on”. Ha! I hear that RR Martin has been more involved in House of the Dragon then he was in the last season of GOT. This gives me hope that the new series may improve!

Brilliant film. Visual storytelling at it’s best. Those who say the film is boring are as unconscious as the main character, Phil. There is very little dialogue in the film and this is intentional. I wouldn’t call the film demanding but in order to appreciate what it has to offer, plan on focusing while not fumbling with popcorn or chatting with a friend next to you. It’s almost a meditation. Stunningly beautiful in every way, a visual feast, with subtle clues throughout. Open your eyes and drink it in!!

Sentimental, tired troops, and a predictable native. But in today’s disturbing world, a sweet distraction.

Beautifully filmed. Very moving with unexpected twists. I give it the highest recommendation. Just when you think It’s trite and sentimental, the narrative slugs you in the stomach. Haunting at times and filled with symbolism.
