I'm not a Trekkie, though I have casually watched all the Star Trek serieses since I was a kid because my dad was a fan. Discovery is by far the best Star Trek series I've seen. Don't let nitpicking hardcore fans scare you away from this wonderful dark version of Star Trek that pays a lot of cool homage to the original series.
