Yet another show trying to use racism to fuel interest… having grown up in Twilight land and then living in the horrible racist south….I am so sad that this is what bs Netflix has compiled into a solution to grab people’s attentions and intentions….I’m happily in an interracial marriage that originated in the south, but we’ve had to move west for the issues to not be as horrible, …I’m sad that this happened…. This is not the way to shed a light on injustice…. It’s sad that it’s the way to get anyone on board to do what is right and to support BLM,

The majority of the show had major promise. There were a few things I feel that they could have done better, as far as the storylines go. Nancy was my favorite and I feel the most relatable character with the most cohesive story line. I do feel that they did try to accurately portray Sasha in a cultural sense, which they did do successfully. But the rest of the story lines ended up extremely muddled.
