Impractical Jokers was a HUGE disappointment. I understand that it is a movie that they have to make and that it needs to be different from the show, but I thought that the writing would be a lot better because of it being a movie with a higher budget, but it really wasn’t. They forced a story that didn’t make much sense to continue, especially since they almost quit for a dramatic effect in the middle of the film. I would have much preferred a long special episode rather than what they gave us. The challenges or punishments that they showed weren’t all that much better than those on the TV show, some were even worse. Honestly, the only improvement I could find from the movie compared to the TV show was literally the camera quality. Even then it wasn’t that good. If you think about it, the better quality of the cameras means bigger cameras for filming. That makes me think that a lot of it wasn’t genuine, but just made up or acted out. I could be wrong about the cameras though.
