I really enjoyed the book. Reading this became my preoccupation and I had trouble putting it down. Very well written. I love the way he connected the beginning of the book to the end by the term Night knocker. I was so engrossed when I saw "night knocker", I actually momentarily thought I had seen that term in another book. Finally brought me back to how the whole scenario began. It was not scary, but kept me on the edge of my seat and mesmerized the whole time. The end was a bit supernatural, but made sense, especially coming from Steven King.
I wasn't a fan of him making political remarks.
There is a time and place for politics, and this was not it.
I read for pleasure, and do not need political interjection in a fictional book. I had heard about the political remarks, but chose to read the book anyway. I recommend it.
