this show like any other show, starts with the main charachter having a fatal flaw beth burgess's flaw is that she's too self centered and selfish thats her charachter and that's the whole point of the show by the end she gets a taste of her own medicine and starts her redeption arc A lot of the criticism is againist the charachter of kate bechinsdale to me she does the same as steve carrel as michael scott in the office, she plays the character so well that you forget you're watching an actress and she actually gets on your nerves, to me thats good acting
