Personally I don't like this movie at all! I think the Aristocats is a much better movie to watch than this muck! I mean I thought Penny was obnoxious and bland, but I do feel sorry for her as a little girl! I also really hate Madame Medusa! She was annoyingly insane and she's desperate to retrieve a rare and valuable diamond called the Devil's Eye, but it's stuck down in a pirate's skull in a creepy cave that's submerged under the ocean, completely fills with water at each high tide and the entrance to the cave is too small and narrow for her to fit through, which is why she kidnapped a little girl small enough to enter the cave's opening! In my opinion, that's a stupid idea to pick a plot line!! Medusa's also very guilty for child abuse, like when Penny struggled to get the diamond out of the skull, the water was rising and the tide was coming in and she begged for Medusa to pull her up, but she only threatened "You get that diamond or you'll never see daylight again!" Geeze, that made her surprisingly more evil than Cruella De Vil in my opinion! Also I do agree with the Nostalgia Critic that the Rescuers Down Under is better than the first! But still this movie is better than the Black Cauldron!

Unpopular opinion: This is not one of Pixar's best. It's like so futuristic like the Jetsons, but even more lazy people! I know, fine animation, fine romance, fine characters, fine message, just didn't like the movie. Also I do think this movie insists upon itself and I do feel like Pixar is getting overrated, but at least some of their short films remain hilarious. The Pixar movies I personally like best in this day and age are all four Toy Story movies, Finding Nemo and Dory, and Inside Out!

I used to love Barney when I was a kid, but now I outgrew him. But I don't think he deserves so much hate! Of course Barney is annoying, but he's still better than Jar Jar Binks. Barney is a very decent role model for kids. I'm sure Barney backstage really wanted to make children smile much more than wanting to grab cash. If you still love Barney, then good for you! But Barney'd really love it if you put on a baseball game or a sitcom every once in awhile.
