This film was definitely not my cup of tea. The acting might have been exceptional, but the story was boring, perverse and je ne sais quoi. Thé location screamed THIS IS NOT MONTANA and contributed to the feeling that something is just not right. Jane Campion undoubtedly directed this film for an audience that did not include me.
