Some concepts in this movie are interesting, but the constant reset of the plot is annoying and throws the audience off the experience. The characters are not interesting enough for us to spend so long with them.

While the songs are tremendously catchy, they are often used as a replacement for actual dialog and character development. Once you take the music out of the equation, you're left with a shallow story, flat characters and a very underwhelming ending. Too bad, there was a real potential here...
