Great storylines, first class acting and interesting issues explored. The dynamic between the different characters is sensitively played and the overall effect is absorbing. The only thing that really doesn't work for me though is that the various personal stories are constantly played out via mobile phone dialogues. Honestly, I can't even get a signal in my house yet the characters have deep conversations across tens of millions of miles with no time lag or interrupted signal. If you are going to make something accurate, make it accurate. Don't put in lazy plot devices that ultimately remove the sense of vast isolation that is surely a key theme of journeying through space.
