I did not enjoy this movie whatsoever. Frozen the original developed the characters properly and had a well written story, but Frozen 2 had non of that. Other than Elsa learning she was a freaking god, no other character had real development. Other than that, the story was a complete mess. They started by showing that the spirits wanted to help them escape Arundel, but later you find out they are still vengeful towards their people, so...? And even then, how were they able to save the people? The spirits were trapped within the forest, so it makes no sense how they saved them. Besides that, they made Olaf way less fun. He just seems annoying in this movie. Also, what happened to Christoph? And I get that's a joke, but it's an honest question to me. I mean, his solo was good, but honestly, it made no sense. It was a simple misunderstanding on Anna's half, so what was he so worried about? And why did they introduce like, five new characters only to do nothing with them. They were around for almost five minutes total. But back to the main story. The five spirits weren't really able to control their respective element at all. Only swim, light things on fire, or be rocks. And why was Elsa the fifth element? I mean, my paps always told me: Fire, Earth, Air, Water.... And colder water. C'mon Disney. And also, why was Elsa saved when Anna destroyed the bridge? They weren't connected other than that it was an offering. And the fact that Elsa literally became a god that could stop a wave that was taller than their castle. She not only was still learning to control her powers, but she was still able to create a strong enough ice to block the wave. Finally, the twist villain. A good twist villain can be fun and interesting, but this time around it made little to no impact. She learned they were planning to attack them, because magic made them feel powerful. They clearly had lived their lives peacefully without causing conflict, but they still thought it would be a good idea to carry out with this attack. And it's not like they follow the same rules as a Kingdom, so it's not like they would just surrender themselves. I would keep typing this up, but I really have so much more I'm gonna stop. Either way, in a nutshell, this movie makes no sense.
