To Amber Brown: There were hundreds of Blacks in Tudor England and Catherine of Aragon brought an entourage of "Moors" and personal attendants that were "Black". During that time the English Court actually had noted poets and artists who were Spanish and African. The English never fully recognized slavery as America did. As for a Muslim Guard, yes. The English did not trust Muslims but they did not ban them at the time. While this series is based on fictional accounts of factual events, it does provide a service in that it invites the viewer to read about history in order to separate fact from fiction. Personally I love this series and I've learned a lot from it.
