This is truly a must see series told by himself, Colin! From the lens of a Black African American (light-skinned) brother who thought his adopted parents’ (Caucasian) White privileges would carry him through racist American, he depicts his own truths….wow! The more I see showings like this help me to realize it’s only God’s grace that can bring us through this tom foolery. My heritage struggle is real but topped with this negative mentality of we are always less than - them. Romans 12:1-2 (my take) renewal of the mind…change our mindset and know, we were created in His image…a head, face, body, brain, organs, 2 eyes,10 fingers,10 toes, and our “heart” … without these things we might be labeled; however, there is no distinction made in races when we don’t look like everyone else with our normal external features. It’s the playing field that causes the issues…the threat of showing we are equal, just as good as, or even better! As Blacks, if we rosed to the occasion, we could “all” succeed to our greatness…a higher calling. We can all be great…if we only believe it! I am beyond believing it, I know it! praise His Holy and Righteous Name! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿 Continue to use me Lord to show the greatness of Christ in my life! thank you🌹
