First of all this is my first ever review of any Dan Brown novels. Being a fan and read almost all his works like brilliantly written Angels &Demons, Inferno, Da Vinci Code,Lost symbol etc., the recent thriller Origin is not even half of the mark which his other novels were. The book starts with interesting narrative but suddenly loses its essence. The whole Science vs Religion thing seemed way too made up. As the futurist,Edmond Kirsch always had hatred towards religion and tht is repeated so much tht it doesnt even matter by the time book leads us to final countdown of his devastating discovery which will vanish world religions.
And the discovery is not even astonishing or devastating. Its almost the sum of things which science has theoeries abt till now. And the books talks abt 'laws' of physics which are infact theories. Not to mention tht writer adding 'astonishing' 'shocking' in every page which was not even slightest surprising. And also our all time favourite Professor Robert is back with another arm candy Ambra and yet more 'shockingly'tht he got rid of assassin single handedly. Lastly, way more dissapointed by this book. Hope to see much more better comeback of Mr Brown.
