Have watched 3 of the 4 episodes of this mini series. I do not know how to describe my disappointment in this adaption of HE. I have loved most period drama's over the years on PBS, but this one just gave me a headache. The sisters and their brother just yell, interrupt, are rude to each other and other people, constantly. Sound like a bunch of preteens in the 21st century not young adults in the early 20th century. The whole thing appears rushed. Costumes and location filming are the only saving grace of this remake. The 1992 movie is still the best adaption of the novel.

I was completely disappointed by this latest adaption of Agatha Christie's amazing murder mystery. I have read the novel, watched the very good 1974 and David Suchet versions, which got the essence of the whole story. This adaption was just a bunch of movie stars on a train. No mystery or suspense, just a very bad movie. Makes you wonder how anyone could mess up such great material, but Mr. Branagh managed to do just that.

One of my favourite WWII movies, and had the wonderful Treat Williams as the Lieutenant with common sense who takes over for Larry Hagman as the pompous inexperienced Captain. Was so crushed to hear Treat Williams died today.

Have watched this show from the very beginning off and on. The first few seasons were the best. Great supporting actors to round out the plot. But the plots are getting so far fetched and the new crop of supporting actors just have no magic at all. This show should have just bowed out last year.

Just love this movie. A Canadian gem!

Just watched this film again, last night, must be the 5th time since I first saw it over 50 years ago. As a young person I had never seen a movie like this, and was left with a horrible sense of dread for the world. Could not imagine the current US president having a conversation with Putin if we got this close to the edge again. And with the fighting in Ukraine that could be a real possibility. All of the actors in this movie were topnotch. I loved the small part by young comedian Dom Deluise who was so convincing in his straight dramatic role. An amazing actor, an amazing movie.

Saw this movie as a kid in the 1960's just re-watched it on TCM. It has some funny moments, and great adventures of the 4 main characters. Think a lot of the scenes were lifted and used in the Indiana Jones 2nd movie. The Rudyard Kipling poem read at the end does not age well. India belonged to the Indians not the British, could now see the uprising in a whole different light.

Has to be the worst show in a America, and the host is just not funny or anything actually.

Love both the original and the DIY shows. The Strawbridges are charming and quirky, just what you want in a "fixer upper show" and in a marriage. The kids and the in-laws all seem good, decent people. I think that is the attraction. Love what they do with the Chateau and how creative they all are, just splendid. Also like all the people on the DIY show. They all have their charm in many different ways. I admire them all for the work, time, money, exhaustion they put into their homes. A really uplifting show.

I loved Lewis, great sequel to Morse, then Endeavour. Watched all 3 shows quite a few times.
