Honestly after updates now its better. There are a few things that need addressing but the modding community has fixed most of them. Things need to have more variety and value. Making money is basically grinding for gems and sand so far. It lacks npcs. The towns are simply too empty. No kids/animals/ life happening inside. No life happening outside the city either other than things killing each other. They need an ecosystem to make it feel better like scenic animals and other less threatening docile monsters that you CAN hunt without them killing you or ripping half your hp away. Its not worth 70 bucks and I hope the developers at lease release a massive rework update for it. It has amazing potential but right now its another ARK survival with less content and much better combat and packing mechanics. I like the backpacks, its nifty. I just wish enemies would be like you. Having backpacks and having a desire to live and flee from combat when low on hp. Things like this matter in the long run.
