Brino is a Bass Player currently playing with Status Quo tribute band (State of Quo) Brino started playing with Status Quo Tribute bands 15 years ago when he received a message from Status Clone asking would he be up to standing in for their bass player David Heap as he was injured, and 32 gigs later Brino completed a massive tour with the band making hundreds of friends along the way. Brino went into a few more bands before settling into his Ideal and much wanted role at State of Quo. He was with Quoincidence, Stayed As Quo, The Quo Experience, all of which Brino really enjoyed but the icing on the cake was becoming the Bassist with State of Quo. During this rollercoaster ride Brino has met with Rhino from Quo many times discussing styles and equipment, in fact Brino's guitars and amplification are exactly the same. Its a massive pleasure to hear the audience singing and jumping around when we play, its a sign that we are doing OK and the QUO fans are a very special kind of people, they say it straight, so if I have a bad night hahaha THEY tell me … Its a massive privilege to play Bass in a quo band, I have loved Status Quo since I was 13 and that's a few years ago.. it never leaves you..
