I know that a lot of effort went into this show and a lot of people love it but this isn't very good in my opinion. The characters are all pretty bland and basic and they go through a very small arc by the end to the point where it is barely noticeable. The villain is incredibly 2dimensional and boring to watch and the rest of cast being just as basic. The soundtrack is forgettable there's not much worldbuilding done, and the comedy falls flat for me, I really don't get why this show is so adored and popular. but I will mention some positives like the animation is really nice and impressive and the games shown feel like real games. But I personally don't recommend this to anyone it has boring characters with boring designs, feels more like it is made for audiences younger than most of Smg4's long time fans and its just so forgettable and just remember I am not trying to discourage you from liking this show if you like it that's fine this is just my opinion.
