Sin Microwave

I was really let down by this movie. I was a huge fan of all of the original Spy Kids movies and The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl when they were released but I feel like this movie is trying to recreate the feeling you got while watching them. It just wasn't that good. It's cute how we got to see our Lavagirl x Sharkboy ship sail. The plotline was messy, predictable and full of plot holes, eg; Guppie's powers. At the start, it was stated that she could only control water but at the end, she can now control liquid metal? Like Wheels said it like it should have been obvious that she could do that? In The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl and the Spy Kids movies, it was okay that it felt the way it did, they were made in the 2000s after all. This movie was like the youngest sibling that tried to fit in the shoes of its siblings by trying to do what the others did. I really wish it were better, I was really looking forward to an Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl sequel.
