what a beautiful film. the symphonic sounds and majestic shots of the 'waves of stone' accompanied by an igniting narration by Dafoe drove me to tears. the script by MacFarlane was the perfect example of 'less is more'. succinct and emotional. it took me back to my days in nepal. a stunning piece of work.
