Ignore the critics - this is a great film. I never post reviews, but feel compelled to, having just read some of so-called experts total assignations of this movie.
Happy, sad, intriguing, shocking, tragic, emotional, thought-provoking, romantic, complex and with an ‘ending’ - this is a multi-faceted piece of work, with some excellent acting and a solid storyline.
I’m not usually a fan of the multi-storyline type films, but Life Itself is an exception - my wife and I both really enjoyed watching it and will be recommending it to others.
I’m quite surprised at the critics’ level of criticism - perhaps it doesn’t fit their definition of what is currently ‘cool’ or on-trend... The real shame is that many people will be put off watching the film because of these very negative reviews. Hopefully the reviews of those who enjoyed the film can redress the balance somewhat.
