It just wasn't ff7. They dropped a lot of what made the original story so good and opted for things that were not necessary. They didnt make one of the best characters playable and the combat isn't my cup of tea. To imagine the summons and magic in today's graphics could have been amazing. Instead we got a lot of things that didn't feel right. And honestly to call it a remake is kinda wrong. Like you could have renamed every character and not even used the 7 title.

I bought the switch for my kids and this game because they both like it. I am sure you already understand this. Parents if you are looking for a game for your kids to play don't get this one unless you are buying two switches.
