C FH – Google

This show ROCKS. it’s so good. Diego is an incredible actor - seeing him in this role compared to other roles is amazing that he is the same human being. It made me realize that so many actors are just the same guy in different roles. Even good actors like Kevin Spacey. But this guy has depth. He can be anyone!!! So 2 things: The show is much more chill to watch if you speak Spanish. I speak Spanish and it just makes the show in my opinion easier to watch than Babylon Berlin for example. So if you are not into subtitles, it could impact your interest in the show. But if you stick with it, it’s worth it so much!! Second, it’s way better if you watch all the other Narcos because it ties the shows together in an awesome way. :) I don’t think you can fully appreciate it without watching at least Seasons 1 and 2 of Narcos. In sum, watch this! Watching historical drama is so awesome because the story is real and it gives an understanding of the political issues surrounding drug cartels. And since I’m from the USA and California and feel very close to Mexico and Central America because I grew up around so many amazing immigrants from those counties, I can really appreciate the parts that are history and the parts that are drama, largely because of the editing and the acting and writing, which is captivating and great. Enjoy!

Really good. I think the character sympathizing with hitler is very well acted but think maybe over editing to not show the change of heart. I guess we are just supposed to assume it was what happened to his friend (not spoiler), but like what did he think was going to happen? The rhetoric at the time was pretty blatant so it’s hard to believe someone so fervent is suddenly like “woah too much”. But maybe It’s an anachronism because American politics are so polarized and on one side are people who read and listen to official reports and remember history and the other side is just far gone insane and stupid and I guess I just assumed you’re all nazi or not. Anyway I would have liked to see him see his friend come out in that condition so we could watch his change. I think the extra 5 minutes of camera to show rather than just a conversation about it would have made the emotional connection much more believable. But I really loved the movie. I just never really trusted that character enough to be absorbed.
