The movie shows the story of Abraham when he was asked to sacrifice his own son, Isaac. The slow pacing allows the contemplation and the thread that connects the incidents Abraham's life with the sacrifice that he was asked to make. The acting by Nicolas Mouawad carries the movie through, along with the soundtrack and the solid direction by David Helling. Heartily recommend the movie!

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is intended for the next generation of fans. It’s less scary in a way but is full of charming one-liners and a sentimental homage to the original film. Although I can see elements of woke-ism through the multiracial casting and the inclusion of girl-power, it’s done quite seamlessly and not too noticeably. I also appreciate the sentimental homage to the original team - especially towards the end. I’m not sure if there will be further sequels but this seems like a nice epilogue to the original series (excluding the unnecessary all-female reboot).
