Honestly, I only watch this as a fan of baseball. With that being said, you think they would have cast actors who may have had SOME experience playing the game at some point in their lives. With the exception of a few guys, who appeared to have talent, it’s a total distraction. Attempting to pass Freddie Prinze Jr. as a “can’t miss pitching prospect” is comical, when it was painful to watch his windup. Plot is predictable, story generic, but will watch for nostalgia.

Normally, I’m not a fan of horror movies. However, having watched this film, I was delightfully surprised and not scared as much as I anticipated! Though the ghouls can enter at unsuspecting times through the duration of this film, they most certainly do not do so in a sense where you need worry of “jump scares”. Horror films such as this often fall stale and lose the audience with their hokey outlandishness, but that not the case here. Field of Dreams proves to be a classic that keeps you on the edge of your seat, entertained, and in suspense! Two big thumbs up and highly recommend for movie lovers!
