Little Green Bean

Fight scenes were clearly the main point of this movie which makes sense considering it's Mortal Kombat. They are gory and action packed and are the best part of the movie. Now where the movie is lackluster or even just bad is the story. The story is rushed and it is used to push the movie along to each fight scene which would be fine if there wasn't so much of it. This movie falls into the same trap as Godzilla vs Kong for me where about 45 minutes of it could have been cut out. ALSO, Cole Young is the worst part of the movie, he is saved for all but one fight and his actor (I'm not familiar with his other work) seemed disinterested in the movie, at least to me. I'll give the movie a 3/5. Boring exposition, and silly dialogue are BARELY saved by the incredible and visceral fight scenes.
