Pros: the map is really nice, big, scenic, and pretty.
The amigos are funny when you unlock them
Your character is funny, constantly calling people comimierdas.
Cons: the story is a bit confusing and all over the place, you meet Clara (a person you literally don’t know at all) you do one mission for her and all of a sudden your her goddess and main spokesperson for viva libertad it’s quite unrealistic.
The movement sucks compared to the other games (Iv played all of them), you can’t jump over somethings even if you can see over them, climbing is also a hassle because you need to be in the right position for the climb symbol to show up(meanwhile in the other games if you just jumped towards it it would automatically grasp)
There’s so leveling system, no skill tree, no set in stone buffs or cool takedowns to unlock.
Stuff you pick up around the map like gasoline is gasolinA but everything else is in English(kinda pointless to have only gasoline in Spanish if that’s the vibe they were going for)
You can’t pick up enemies guns, if I kill a flamethrower or a RPG holder I should be able to pick that up! It doesn’t allow you to play around on the map with other guns throughout your missions. You need to go to workbenches to switch your guns.
Driving also changed in the game, the turning is ridiculous you slide all over the place.
Also there’s never any vehicles around I find myself running EVERYWHERE on the coast of water there’s never any water vehicles. In the other Farcrys there was easy access to water, air and land vehicles.
The people you contact with in the game are all a weird range of people.
All farcrys are 3rd person which is fine even though I prefer 1st person, but it’s irritating because it gives you a taste of 1st person when inside the camps and during cutscenes. Which what’s the point ??
Overall this game seems rushed and I’m not a fan of the Spanish aspect because half the characters don’t even seem Spanish and most of the dialogue is in English but some stuff is in Spanish which is just confusing(not because I can’t understand it, most words they use in Spanish are ones most people know like suerte, adios, gracias, and stuff like that) but make it one thing or the other don’t just add in random Spanish words to go with the games plot.
