Man please take your family to see this movie. This movie is awesome. I laughed, cried, and praise the lord! THIS MOVIE right her was well put together. It showcases the highs and the lows of Aretha life. She struggles to find her voice but triumphantly found it by becoming the Queen of Soul. The music is amazing! The cast is incredible. I feel oscar nominations coming! Well done and I plan to see it again.

Aretha Genius has Terrible casting. Timeline is all over the place. The music scenes lack soul and some of the scenes did not match up to the actual year.
