Daphne Riley

I absolutely loved this series - the characters, the jokes, the pathos. If you loved the original film you will enjoy this.

I expected better. The poor ending made me wonder why I had watched all four episodes. What really ruined it for me was the weird juxtaposition of scenes of Bradford, 5 miles from my home, and scenes shot in Hungary - Jenna's flat, her dad's house, the blocks of flats - all the decorative metalwork, the rusty screen doors, the lace curtains etc
