Jess Allen should be fired from this show. She is ignorant of the great things that the sport of hockey has done for young people in our country. I AM OFFENDED JESS ALLEN!!! My granddaughter plays hockey and LOVES it!! She may be white but she is no bulley!!! None of the kids I know that play hockey are bullies! Does Jess the politically correct oppressor understand that not all hockey players are white? Has she ever heard of Patrick Suban, Darnell Nurse, Jerome Iginla ? THEY'RE NOT WHITE!!! There is just about every race and nationality playing in the NHL right now. Before you flap you're gums, Jess Allen, know what you're talking about. NHL hockey players do a tremendous amount of charitable work in their communities and around the world. In case you didn't know, so does Don Cherry - you fool. Politically correct, self satisfied idiots like you are the new oppressors of our time.

There needs to be an apology from The Social to the community of hockey players, hockey families and youth in Canada for the extremely bigoted statements that Jess Allen made on thIs show today. She was ignorant of the facts around the Don Cherry controversy as it did not pertain to hockey. She did proceed to insult hockey players in general, hockey families and the young people who play. She called hockey players "white boys" and referred to the hockey families as privileged without regard for the sacrifices made by many families. She also fails to see that the hockey players in the NHL do a tremendous amount of charitable work within their communities and that just about every race and nationality is represented in the NHL as well as those families sacrificing for their children. Jess Allen needs to be fired. If Don Cherry needed to be fired, Jess Allen needs to be held to the same standard.
