A fantastic game handicapped by the limitations the developers placed upon it. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising features an enjoyable, if brief campaign as well as a bevy of multiplayer modes. Unfortunately, all of the multiplayer servers are dead and the only way to play with others is via a LAN connection. OF:DR is great to play and is way more realistic and unforgiving than contemporary shooters like Call of Duty. The mission editor, while lacking robustness, is entertaining and it's possible to create simple missions in under an hour. All in all, it's a fun yet old game but if you're a fan of the MilSim genre, it's definitely worth playing.
