I thought it was a decent homage to Hilly and the beginning of the punk rock scene.

Would have been much better if had been more straight forward. Her looking in the camera and telling the story gave it a Disney Channel, Nickelodeon feel to it, which I found annoying. I thought the young girl that played her was very good. They portrayed the Holmes brothers well.
